China Personal Experience
When we find excuses to not preform simple tasks, duties, or just a positive mindset that moves us forward in Daily life, we are already on a slippery slope, Why? We have disconnected from our worth and values, what else is then left to drive us to achieving anything?
We have days of low moods, distracted from our frame or direction to complete what makes us actually feel good, however that standard should not become the norm.
The Maintaining your MONEY, MUSCLE, GAME AND FRAME should never be normal it should be the Goals you set in your daily life style.
Another Notable Birthday
What have i learnt from another day of my life and socialital norms? that Keeping my Standards, Values and Ability to Manage and adapt to challenges i face with a smile, optimistic view, see it simply as experience that life throws at me one that is neither GOOD OR BAD just Experiences
Relatinships
Values and traditional Eastern women offer men the simple expectations and requirements in a girlfriend and wife, there just is no comparison, the West a have lost the plot, a huge drift away from what was once stable and normal between the genders and sexes
Time will correct but what of the 'now generation' of women with living the life of Independance, social freedom and boss womenship? suffering and the wall is about to be a deafing reality sound and blow to them.

Chinese Students Studying Abroad
Chinese Students Studying Overseas
During my Three Months in the USA and May, I return to the UK
I Came to Realised from my interactions in both countries and social connections with Oriental Asians, primarily, Chinese Hong Kong and Tai’s that another perspective exists
An Interesting Aspect and refreshing view for me of these people working and living abroad so-called overseas residents or [ex-pats] to begin with I asked this to everyone i meet ”Chinese Student Study Abroad – Choice Or Peer Pressure?”
This Is A Big Surprise that leaves a unique awareness, of how society and our environment crafts the person, However, given the opportunity to change these parameters of circumstances the person has a choice to review, reassess, comprehend, challenge, and decide on options that are now available
Many Chinese Students Study Abroad
Ching and Snow!
Chinese Medical Students
In the UK, Eastbourne I had the fortune to meet several Asian women and men, some were students on a couple, in particular, are studying medicine one in Oxford the Girlfriend in Cambridge.
Then had to take time out to travel down to the seaside resort Eastbourne for a break from studies and some TLC seems, I came upon them during my usual morning jog and around 7 am
they were taking refuge under a shelter as the rain began falling in a light but consistent drizzle, I decide to impose on them and engage in a chat from both curiosities and for selfish reasons too Practising Chinese, ..why not
The Conversation Was Smooth from the start talking about life and studies and how they met and so forth, strangely and enough they both just arrived a few months ago from SHENZHEN the very city I was living and working in for several years.
That piqued my interest even more as we had found a commonality of districts and Shenzhen has intentionally known the Electronics market world. All the same, we moved on to the aspect of good, bad, or indifference to studying abroad in the UK.
The Consensus was that it was a great treat to experience the UK and its high-end university establishment, together with the quintessential sedate and relaxed from the pressure of Chinese family expectations around you daily.
Then the idea to stay and work in the UK was appealing though they showed a distinct fear of what is needed to achieve in securing a working position in the UK, it seemed too complicated and involved for them to consider.
A Discussion on how it appears from the outside of china and security or freedom to express and be yourself as you really want was raised, Snow then-girlfriend, was subjective yet believes that china suppresses information and availability to real-world news.
she claims that she sees free information being withheld from the Chinese people systematically and selectively that can upset the norm in China [ ”more power to the people will bring more dissatisfaction”]
From Ching the Guy, clearly, the conversation reflected he was a patriot, and rightly so, however not a blinded one, but an intelligent and clear-headed individual
Ching’s standpoint on this was that china is powerful and needs to realize that power came from its connection with the world, he states that Chinese working and/or living abroad are better position and informed to appreciate and understand the reality.
Ching also wanted to return to China to work for his master’s degree to gain the skills he needed to become a doctor. Snow was open to any choice Ching made.
UK Resident Software Developer
Days later I felt like eating some junk food and tested my craving in MacDonald also desperate for a coffee and apple pie, I was in the sun and decided I needed to find a good spot to see the screen of my computer to write my blog articles.
Hence I Collected my things and headed upstairs finding a small secluded area then a funky style single sitting podium style area. Laptop ready i began researching, looking up I saw an Asian woman glancing at me Hello !! …that was my queue to approach and start a dialogue.
I Revel In This Situation; we ensued on a long conversation as if we knew each other for years; it was easy and without discomfort, Her English was at a high level and I found out she was a software developer with a real interest in the job these days.
She Moved From London from the fuss and busy environment to Pole gate near Eastbourne, the quiet life and seclusion from the limelight were perfect to hear needs, having 2 kids and entertaining mum and dad from north China was a good family environment and outside of China.
Min Originally from Taiyuan, in Shanxi, is a UK resident after studying and finding work in a company in Brighton, has lived here for over 10 years. As a mother of 2 girls she considers herself as happy and self-contained with her current life, Min displays assertiveness and an international attitude, less focused on material things and position, different from the Chinese I met in China or holiday travelers.
So We Can Draw from this that people of cultures and backgrounds can raise their ideals and concepts even break the Traditions and Values placed on them by parents, peers, and families, Allowing a degree of options. As Min stated, she still faces the cultural mindset of the mother who tries to enact and impose in her home here in the UK
Amy Tailand
English Student
Amy a 6 Month improvement student from Thailand, speaks pretty good English possible a level 7
We Met in a Bookstore at Eastbourne center, a very approachable young lady with an interest in books, her question me was what’s the best way to learn English and improve
I suggested maybe starting with some simple poems, find a genre she liked and begin basic layout and appreciation of the content and point of the poem, she was thankful and later searched the section mentioned.
Amy Enjoys The Opportunity to mingle and interact with the university’s multicultural students, meeting all nationalities in the class and exchanging and sharing experiences, difficulties, and lifestyles, she has spent some time in HONG KONG.
She believes the importance of traveling and cultural sharing is the cornerstone to the richness of intelligence and understanding, Amy also is adamant that one future, vision, and creativity are part and parcel of Openness and appreciation of the world.
Her View on Language is that we only get better or driven by language if we can take part in the counties and its people. Amy is a firm believer that her skills and interests will be heightened by her travel and appreciation of what is out there, good or bad
Amy Speaks Tai Language but has embraced Guangdong Hua [ Hong Kong Chinese ] she sees Chinese here in Britain and states they surprise her how open they are to what she first experienced in her home country by Chinese tourists
Conclusion
Students from Asia and particular China have a great prestigious attraction to UK scholarship, the historical backdrop of UK and Eaton, Cambridge, Oxford as high profile educational establishments to make employers eyes raise in good hopes of impeccable credentials
Learning and developing internationally for students naturally, organically, brings into focus the need to rationalize and re-assessment of ”what was to what is” challenges to values predetermined ideals and previous beliefs, in-turn a clarity and self realization of worth and choices is reached.

Taichi China
Welcome to Taichi Page

Who are we?
I am christopher British National, Allan is Chinese, we are long term friends and my teacher!
I am from UK, living in China 15 years, Allan is in Shenzhen just over the border from Hong Kong.
Why this page and classes?
Let's offer some background to help understand our purpose and our strategy and genuine purpose ''We'' Allan and Me Chris (aka) Yi Yang created and promoted the Art to you guys.

Friendship
I met Allan while living in China, and we connected in early 2010 if I recalled, he was interested in learning English and learning more about foreign lifestyles, Additionally about starting a business that I was running in Shenzhen for years.
We spoke mainly via WeChat china's famous app that grew from the QQ standards, but better,
We planned to meet in person many times but for one reason or another denied that event, finally in 2019 on a return trip to China from the UK we causally enquired about our lives, and boom, a plan was formed to meet and discussed possibilities.
Allan has always been in Martial arts, Taichi boxing, and Taichi, also Kung fu, his idol was Bruce Lei, Jackie Chan, and Jet Lei, famous characters of the art.
He once told me he imitated how they behaved in the early days, however, developed his own approach and was genuine in his quest to be top in his field.
Telling me the history of how he started, his mentors and masters, and the competitions in mainland China and hong kong he attended, with accolades as long as your arms.

Impressive and not boastful just plain factual. Allan by nature is a gentle unassuming guy anyone would get on with and humble in many ways too, speaks English at an intermediate level too.
He wouldn't let me pay for lunch, even invited me to meet his family, saying to his son to regard me as Uncle Chris..lol

We spent more time getting to know each other's goals and ideals, finally spending time on the mountains videoing some of his movements with stunning scenery sometimes accompanied by his son and wife. Allan took me under his wing to learn the art too.

Starting and our Plan
One Eventful day we sat down after a workout to discuss how we could promote his dreams and goals of taking his taichi worldwide, allowing others to learn this beautiful activity and its related philosophy.
I started by offering to write blogs on his experiences, the benefits to participants of this activity, its philosophy, who can do it, and why they should engage in it.
It was crystal clear that everyone and anyone could adapt this art to their own speed, strength, and daily life, what's even more interesting is the more you learn the more you are drawn into the philosophy and culture as I found out personally.
Website Promotion
I took it upon myself to open a blog site called Chinese4idiots, a strange name, thanks to Mum in the USA for that one? the site was my way of expressing my life in China offering advice and travel information on all you need to know from money matters, apartment, nightlife, love, working teaching, or startup business as this list is endless, and experienced.
The site was popular, however, I had a debate with the host company and I had to park it up until I could spend more time and give it my full attention, ...W.I.P
What is Taichi?
Anyway back to Taichi, Taichi- (some refer it as Tai jie) is first based on philosophy, cultrally acquired, traditions and a defensive mechanism origonally. Taichi is about the flow if Yin and Yang, the global balance of everything we know, feel think, spirit and inner self equibrium.
The icon is the black and white entangled sperm-like shape in a circle as below. a representation or good and bad, hot and cold, high and low, life and death, in effect BALANCE!
Allan provided the videos and when I was around training with him I would do the videos live. samples of these are online here for your viewing, you are seeing Allan in person and can appreciate his level of English. remarkable for one that was self-taught.
We had agreed on offering classes feely to interested viewers, and give them the opportunity to engage with a teacher of experience, teaching ability, and compassion to newbies, something he is doing in schools, academies, events, social venues, and private groups around Shenzhen where he lives, many foreigners are his students, tai-chi chuan.
For Allan, this goes past making money and he seeks it to leave a legacy for himself, he has the talent, capacity, and mindset to achieve it.
My Distractions
I have been back to the UK, USA, UKRAINE so some neglect on my Facebook blog and page has but I have in the past few months reconnected and pushed his dreams and goals, we have also spoken about keeping it going and depending on your responses to go live, given the time zone differences of course but that's the way we would like to see this develop a global school for everyone at all levels.
What we Need from you (yin yang)
We don't seek special favors what we do hope is that you are honest and give us your feedback so we can improve and provide better engaging scenarios that gain your attention and fulfill your needs.

Tourist Visa China
China
Tourist Visa
If you are into Nightlife and the social scene, bars and clubs, outdoor sports activities, promenade walks and parks, hiking and mountain walks, business events, shows, and so on…no problems
Canadian Coffee Shop: Get a Tourist Visa China
Yesterday I came upon a Canadian Coffee shop, These coffee shops ai am advised are new in the area, fortunately, a good experience with discounts on their coffee and food wrap at a respectable price.
Intrigued to find out more, I started researching the company a conglomerate from Brazil, Yet managed by an American group, This Arm of the Conglomerate is based in Canada, and extending into the China marketplace
Opinion on Product
- Standard Coffee medium Cup 18rmb ~ good balanced beans taste!
- Wrap (scrambled egg and ham) tasty and nutritional not salty, good size!
Business Expectations:
Quite recently I received interest from SME’s to cooperate in businesses wanting to get on the European and international platforms. Well works for me, however, each fell short digging deeper their agenda and required was not investment, instead, looking for an established retailer, company, b2b, b2c, and not interested in investing themselves, only at supplier basis.
Forging cooperation in business is possible in China, but you need to be clear on their agenda and be an established player coming to the table with SME businesses in China.
Personal Space and Friends: Get a Tourist Visa China
Personal Space, is only as good as the quality of Friends you keep, relationships I found are plentiful, be aware that relying on them may be costly and a fool’s errand, many see a target on your head with their personal benefits, ”give nothing take all” mentality in the majority. Don’t be fooled by foreigners either they have another level of greed. Caution and awareness will be your Best Friend and Alliance

Stormy Weather: Get a Tourist Visa China
Shenzhen is weathering Bouts of Sporadic infections, together with Nature’s Very own late Summer Stormy Periods. traveling requires careful consideration, I personally hit the (EC) English corners randomly, partly because I need another level of communication and variation, sometimes, fortunately, I meet other foreigners seeking the same outlet, also meeting a few traveled and seasoned Chinese who speak acceptable English. It’s an amusing setup with intriguing responses and attitudes in unusual ways
Summary
2021 has accumulated changes for me as a traveler and ex-pat, and the world changes do impact your cross-border travels. The ability to rebound when things go downhill or sideways is essential, the lifestyle by its very nature is open to unexpected incidents some turn sour too.
It’s the price we pay for following our dreams and inspirations. What we should take from these episodical experiences is what doesn’t break or kill you makes you stronger, wiser, and character-building
I believe it’s a test of our metal, our capabilities, our capacity and freedom

Head vs Heart
Head vs Heart Decisions
Plans and Spontaneity
Have you ever taken a turn, or without a plan make a decision that brings more benefits than you could ever dream for that day, what happened, and did you believe that the benefits outweigh the worries, efforts, or otherwise plans you would have made?
Well Ditto!
This is the feeling and awareness I have experienced today, Spontaneous reaction Yes, this was a last-minute change of heart vs head, and you know who won
A Brand New Start
Today after my usual workout in my community, the decision was set I Got ready had the all planned out, it was to visit the city check out some places of past haunts revive some memories, and maybe some fresh ones in the process, yet as I arrive at the metro station, I was immediately reminded of a stream I saw and had decided I would try when the moment was right, well why not today my little shoulder devil said? when would the time ever be right I pondered!
Having this epiphany, I considered how nice the day was and the cool wind to assist my walk, it seemed perfect a choice.
Where it would lead me to was not important, I would just walk as far as I felt and make detours as and when I needed, let's be clear about one thing here, I am not one for trails and serious trip planning, so this was going to be a baptism of fire in a good way, a test of what's to come.
Arriving at the place of the stream, I surveyed the scene, and looking up and down I could see that it had great potential, why? well, the flower blossoms staring me in vibrant pink and purple beckoned me on, enticing me to commit on this river escapade, and so I did!
The stairs to the river were filled with overhanging trees and all filled to the brim with these vivid flowers, birds swooped around wildly, butterflies chased each other in a kind of erratic love mating madness, the mood was set and I was primed to get underway.
People's Interests
A few fishermen sat on the river's edge, some of the young families hunkered around the waters edge with fresh catch, discussing what to do about it, if to throw it back or keep it in the jar of water already holding a few fish.
Walking past I focussed on putting one foot after another in the direction of my goal, I could feel the rush of a cool breeze full in the face, It was refreshing and inclined to welcome the effort ahead, Mobilized, invigorated, and fired up my stroll became faster, but with a casualness, I might add all was looking good!
Breakwater Crossing and Scene
Coming to a bend in the river I came to a small breakwater but well designed allowing people to cross by standing on strategically equally placed slabs of stone, this sure was a real treat, with added interest as I also noticed partly hidden stair, with a cultural building above on the other side, additionally further down the river loomed a bridge in typical Chinese style architecture, this I had to see up close.
Chinese Culture and Myths
Ascending the stairway I entered another world, Chinese cultural buildings and garden was already promising, greeted by a small secluded gift and snack shop, further along, were avenues of trees and outbuildings all in Chinese traditional designs, one was a 9th story tower, [akin to the ''tower of Pizza',]
Walking towards trees judging to be over 100 years, I was pleasantly confronted by a huge building in the shape of ''long cheng'' Dragon in Gold and Red, holding what can be described as a LARGE pearl in its mouth, If there is a significance to that but I am not privy to it.
The body of the creature disappeared into the trees and snaked away around the bend, appearing from time to time between the tall trees for what looked like 400 feet or more. the tail was somewhere in the distance there!
Chinese Dragons
The Dragon is a Mythical creature of great strength, power, and a signature of Chinese culture, from ions ago, Just watch movies like Bruce lee's 'Enter the Dragon', China State shows of Men in Costumes and a big Dragon Head, performing incredible acrobatics on stilts and in the streets, a culmination of musical cultural dances, beautifully and skillfully in an extravagant display
Deciding to check out the size of this structure I came across many other interesting activities and objects,
This comprised of a communal area with outdoor working gym apparatus, children's play area, and gardens in full bloom and shockingly vivid colors
Strikingly Beautiful Path
The Bridge I saw earlier was a more attractive close-up, with an arched body ''like in a fairy tail'' elaborate carvings and painted archways hung overhead, on those were many typical red lanterns, all along with the structure of the bridge, People stood taking photos and some resting on the wooden benches either side of the walkway it was the place for a photoshoot
People and Interaction
The day was filled with more interaction of men, women, Students, even the older generations than I can ever remember in my years living in China, this day brought it all together without even trying other than an impromptu change to my plans, the scene was here people were enjoying the environment and perhaps by that very nature receptive or susceptible to making an effort in conversation, I can count at least 7 people from school kids, young ladies, grandfathers playing instruments, guys working out on the bars, and kiddos with mums running after them, incredible and yet unusual in my years of experience in china.
Finally, I arrived at the entrance of what was a park, Another huge dragon was also there spouting out water from the mouth as an ornament statue, as a quiet day I was lucky to appreciate the item without too much interruption, my perfect photo shooting began again.
The Early Bird Gets No Breakfast.
Of all the days I decided to give my usual cereals and nuts a rest, I needed something else, but by the time I arrived at this park it was perhaps 2 hrs later, so around noon I was starved and had only a flask of Chinese tea to stave off hunger and a rumbling stomach. Restaurants I could not find al were working small shops, so I elect to find a corner shop and purchased a cola and a large tub of ice cream with nuts, Witting on a chair outside the Shop [usual in china] I sat to enjoy this treat.
Inquisitive Passersby
Kids from school passing by curiously surrounded me and inquired who was and why I was in China, my name, and so on... asking if they could be my friend, lol attracting two passing young women also curious about what was going on, more conversation ensued.
The crazy thing was that the shop owner came out shortly after the ladies had taken my contact details and left, He began asking curiously if I was wearing some special perfume because he couldn't understand why I was so popular only after being outside the shop some 30mins?...lol funny guy!
I must say that being to communicate in the language, (though not fluently in Chinese,) Without the ability this would not have taken place, the natives survey you as just a foreign traveler, leaving a void which they feel unsure, and most likely not approach.
More excitement was in my mind as to how the rest of this day is likely to unfold.
Finally a Late Lunch
Making up for the loss of energy and being absolutely starved, arriving at a nice restaurant near home, I pushed the boat out ordering two delicious dishes a soup and a side dish of green-leaved vegetable, that hit the mark 110%, Lovely!

This Story's Morals
The moral of this story is that no matter how unexcited, boring, set routine, or dismal it seems, there are times where rational vs intuitiveness decision making takes the back seat, In many cases, I find myself whether they be in UK, Kyiv, Europe, Asia or with family, it pays off than not!
Getting out and exercising both your legs and mind puts you in the social scene, places you in situations of possibilities, not just for you but others out there perhaps also in the same frame of mind or situation. looking for alternatives and options.
We all want, even desire change, interaction, social connections, interventions, inspiration, and conversation to exist as normal people, without it we surely will not grow, be what we can be, achieve higher or better self-esteem, grab opportunities, To be in the Game or on the playing field.
You don't need to be a guru, a socialite, an extrovert, or some smooth-talking chic' or dude, Instead just get into the stream of others' view, bring forward awareness and it will happen naturally.
As I see it, every day we have is a gift and one to pursue with fear, but with open minds and hearts!

CHINA WHOLESALER MANUFACTURERS
A friend's experience to the new Company who initiate a for all visit employees to their glassware factory
A fantastic experience, visiting the glassware production line.
Last Thursday, all the new sales started pre-job training. It is really an unforgettable experience for me.
CRYSTAL GLASSWARE MANUFACTURERS
Company: Excellent Operation, 山西宜欧家具用品有限公司
We were sent to Qixian where our factories are located and visited hand-making, semi-automatic, automatic, post-process glassware factories, warehouses, logistics companies, and domestic selling offices.
As is known to all, the raw materials of glassware are sand, to be precise, Silica. It seems easy to transfer Silica into glass FORM.
However, the process of making red wine glassware is much more complex.
THE PROCESS OF GLASSWARE
- At first, workers put selected raw materials into a fusing kiln, that is heated to over 1,400 degrees centigrade.
- Then, the first batch of workers removes moderate raw liquid material from the fusing kiln with a long pipe.
- They put it in a fixed mold or unfixed mold and blow the liquid material until the material begins to take shape.
- The second batch of workers adds stems to the blown shapes.
- The third batch of workers adds pedestals to the stems.
- Next, cut the top part of the glass shape after annealing. Polish and chamfer the glass edge.
It is not enough at this point, as washers need to wash the glass several times and dry them. Following that, the rims of all glassware require further polishing on the fire again.
Inspection Process
The final but the most important aspect of the process and product lies in its inspection.
Inspectors need to find and qualify any defective line products, applying ratings by signifying items as either first-rate quality and second-best products.
Defective Items
All the defective goods will be sent to the fusing kiln again.
Qualified products are then sent to post-processing factories or be packed for shipping or storage. That is the whole process of manual production.
CRYSTAL GLASSWARE: Automatic vs Semi-Automatic
Semi-automatic production and automatic production look easier and much more effective than manual production.
But machine-made glassware is usually heavier and can't avoid revealing ''joint lines'' a ponderous process.
Machine vs Handmade
Therefore, machine-made product items can't replace hand-made for the finish and holistic qualities. Top-class quality glassware must be hand-made, requiring workers to have rich experience and high-level skills.
Even the smallest mistake during the manual production process would create a poor or uneven distribution of glass thickness, even bubbles within the glass.
During production, hundreds of workers are engaged in the production of glassware around the scorching heat of the ovens.
The production lines run 24 hours a day and never stop with three batch workers changing shifts.
The scene was so collaborative that I felt the greatness of laborers and these special skills.
Moreover, each product was treated carefully because it represented the sweat and painstaking effort of laborers.

My Travel Experience
I traveled back to China on a 2-year travel visa from the UK, Yes just before the Pandemic, So since Feb 2019 I have was issued with temporary stay resident visa after the expiry of my travel visa. As an ex-pat my regular PSB visit issues 1 month to 3 months visas, I have come to realize that period of stay is now primarily placed on funds in your Chinese bank account.
- Each visit you have to present copies with today's date of the balances
Inflexible Views and Rules
What Is clear and defining, is that it matters not what you have outside of china, or recently My £UK assets kept in My Bank of China account, ( budgeted to maximize currency rates as required) They appear to only be interested in YUAN balance, additionally, My UK balance made zero difference to my application, no matter how I discussed with the Desk officials, They were not going to accept THATS THE RULES I was told, end of the discussion in a dismissive and haughty way.

SUMMARY
China Transfers
Visa applications are super important, why? well the Chinese PSB office seem to decide on your length of stay at any one time [unless you have a working visa or sponsored diplomat or student exchange type)
My method of transfer to keep out of difficulties is bank transfers, though it is more costly it is established and solid in my case of 10 years in Asia, what I fear is getting the Chinese bank to initiate or set up a new system without hiccups, problems at the time I don't need and could effectively screw up the fluidity and working system I currently have in place
Take care of the pennies and the rest will look after itself

Cities like Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai have demonstrated this wealth only too ostentatiously, flaunting it in the faces of the majority rest of the country's [Ren] proletarians and poorly paid workers around the nation hard grafting workers.
Chinese Billionaires Mindset
These select groups of individuals have raised from almost obscurity to god-like figures of wealth.
The Percentage of Wealth is astoundingly biased and unbalanced to a few and the many are left to feed on the scraps.
This already creates a wealth divide that agitates the majority, caused friction by tv shows, frivolous statements by the rich on their lifestyles, insults people in a broader aspect of work against the gain.
Millionaires and Billionaires
Born from opportunities others will never see the light of day as opportunities, not have access to or even have the ability to get on the rung of that ladder, Many filthy rich are born into the wealth generated from a really good day of state in prime areas under government takeovers or independent buy-outs

The True Grafting: Predecessors
Have had much help with Guangxi, less than legitimate methods and official family connections
There are clear differences between mediocre people and successful people's daily habits.
#: Successful people have daily success habits that help them to move toward their goals,

THE FLIP SIDE
Undergraduates, new graduate Young Chinese are rebelling against society through a simple act of resistance simply called: ''LYING DOWN''.
The rationale and drive to this action is to show intense disapproval to a controlling life they find themselves facing daily
Resistance to an unhappy working Rat race existence, the passive movement called Tangping, has flourished across the young Chinese millennials. A call to action is growing applying this TANGPING Movement. Supporters portray it as a Soft Defiant rejection against life's endless struggle and survival in the Chinese Working environment
Key Examples of Tangping, (“lying flat”) begins with refusing to get married, against having children, against buying a home, a car, Primarily refusing to work extra hours or having any job period
Others now refer to this action as a form of nonviolent resistance, even “ideological emancipation”. This could also be associated with the early belief and approach by Nelson Mandella's passive movement in Africa, These Young people are disenchanted with their present and future outlook, Preferring to walk away from consumerism, critics categorize this movement as defeatist Mentality
Ideological Emancipation
- rallying call
- have had enough of the Pressures of Working life
- rat race futility
- Beat Generation
- nonviolent resistance ~passive resistance”
- consumerism
How Did 'Tangping' Start
An unemployed Man created a post on the Chinese Tieba forum China in April 2021 Being unemployed over two years, drafted a lifestyle based on the simple living he adopted over the last two years, His grounded do little, low-effort, low-cost lifestyle, appealed to many fairly quickly, His approach to life consisted of working a few months in the year.
His reference to the Greek philosopher Diogenes, He posted a picture of himself lying in bed in the middle of the day with the curtains drawn. saying, “Lying flat is my sophistic movement,”
Sophistry

An example of sophistry is when you
use a fact in an argument to make your point even though you know the point is
false. Plausible but fallacious argumentation. Sophistry is the
deliberate use of a false argument with the intent to trick someone or a false
or untrue argument.
Daisy Zhang's Day: Tangping~ laying flat
“I stay at home and sleep and watch television series. Sometimes I go
out for walks, read books and just think a lot,” says Daisy 28, after
resigning from her job in the film industry in Wuxi a fortnight ago, she
described herself as “lying flat”
A LIFE THAT MATTERS
Chinese youths are now on the wagon train of liberty and independence, a separation from the traditional constraints of their parents and historic family bindings, This is the age of the new Millennials, this generation that will break the mold and bring about international changes for their race and generation
